Quick Setup of Common Features

Each of the sections below outline the minimum administration steps required to configure common Flexpricer features.

Flexpricer Platform

Account Pricebooks

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Enable Account Pricebook 
2. Add the Account Pricebook field to Account Page Layouts

Dynamic Account Price List

1. Add the Pricelist Custom Button to Account Page Layouts

Rapid Product Quantities

1. Add the Rapid Quantity Options field to the Product Page Layouts
2. Edit the Rapid Quantity Options field on the Product

Price Controls

Contracted Pricing

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Contracted Pricing
2. Add the Product Prices related list to Account Page Layouts
3. Add the Contracted Prices related list to Product Page Layouts

Volume Pricing

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Volume Pricing
2. Add the Volume Pricing related list to Product Page Layouts

Fixed Product Bundle Pricing

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Fixed Product Bundle Pricing.
2. Add the following related lists to the Product Page Layouts: Contained within Bundles and Bundle Contents

Segmented Account Pricing

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Segmented Account Pricing.
2. Add the following fields to the Product and Account Page Layouts: Product Group (on Product) and Account Group (on Account)
3. Add Account Group, Product Group and Matrix Price Adjustment tabs to your app.

Sales Empowerment

Products Sold Summary

1. Add the ProductSummary Visualforce page to the Product Page Layouts

Percentage Discount Products

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Percentage Discount Products
2. Add User Discount and Manager Discount products to the lookup fields within the section
3. Ensure that users are allocated the appropriate Flexpricer permission set

Sector Solutions

Quantity Rates

This feature is particularly relevant to media agencies and companies that sell using rate multipliers (for example ‘CPM’).

1. Visit Flexpricer Settings page and check the box marked Quantity Rates
2. Add the Default Quantity Rate field to Product Page Layouts
3. Open Quantity Rates tab
4. Create a Quantity Rate Record (example; Name: CPM, Quantity Multiplier: 0.001)
5. Lookup to Quantity Rate record from necessary products
