When you apply a discount or change the Sales Price of a product on an Opportunity or Quote, Vision Product Selector immediately gives you a new updated price and total for that line item.
No longer will you have to change the Discount and press Save to see the effect… updated data is clearly presented instantly in the interface.
When you change the Sales Price of a line item, or apply a new Discount percentage, it doesn’t affect just that line item. The total value (Amount) of the Opportunity or Quote changes too.
With Vision Product Selector, your can instantly see the effect of Sales Price and Discount changes on the total value of the Opportunity even before you’ve saved the line items. This allows you to adjust prices and percentages until you’re happy with the total before hitting Save to commit the data to the database.
Sales Guidance Notifications give you useful insights into how products are performing with your team members. From total number of sales to win rates of the products you’ve added as line items – Vision Product Selector offers useful notifications in-app.
Administrator configurable, you can even design your own notifications.
This is a legacy feature available only in Visualforce interface.
In your sales process, you may find that there are times that you don’t want users editing line items. Vision Product Selector has a ‘Read Only’ mode that can be activated by a checkbox on Opportunity or Quote.
When the time is right in your sales process, just use standard Salesforce automation tools such as workflows, process builder or flows to check the ‘Read Only’ checkbox and instantly make the Vision Product Selector interface read-only.
It can be frustrating to find that you’ve edited line items on an Opportunity and mistakenly edited the line items of a quote that has been presented… and now that information is lost.
Vision Product Selector includes a simple alert to let you know that the Opportunity is syncing with a Quote (if editing the Opportunity) or that the Quote is syncing with the Opportunity (if editing the Quote).
