Flexpricer 2025 Review: Faster Quotes, More Flexible Subscriptions, Even Better CPQ for Sales Cloud

2025 was another big year for Flexpricer.

From even more flexible subscriptions to an even more powerful configurator and cleaner CPQ workflows, the 2025 updates focused on making complex pricing easier to sell and easier to manage.

Let’s take a quick look at the highlights.

Smarter Subscription Selling

Flexpricer now gives sales teams even more control over how their subscriptions can be sold and managed.

  • Coterminous and Non-coterminous Subscriptions
    Sell subscriptions that align with a contract end date or run independently, with full flexibility for you to change products, pricing, and discounts at any point in the contract lifecycle.

  • Revenue Recognition replaces Billing Journals
    Revenue Recognition records are now available on Subscription Contracts and Opportunities, giving you clear visibility of forecasted vs. contracted revenue by month.

The end result: more accurate financial forecasting, better subscription management, and more confidence in recurring revenue.

A More Powerful, More Helpful Configurator

More complex products need smarter configuration, and the 2025 updates stepped the Simple Product Configurator up a gear.

  • Infinite Configurator Nesting
    One option can unlock another, and another, and another — perfect for highly modular product structures.

  • In-Configurator Sales Guidance
    Groups of product options now have banners, tooltips, and descriptions to help reps choose the right options every time.

  • Even More Efficient UI
    Expand and contract configurator columns, set a default collapse status to preserve valuable screen real-estate, see configurator group pricing summaries to assess the price/margin broken down to a consolidated set of selected options.

Sales reps get more clarity. Admins get more control. Businesses get more ways to sell their products and services efficiently and accurately.

And… most importantly, customers get the right solution.

Modern CPQ: Cleaner, Faster, More Flexible

’25 also delivered major improvements to the CPQ experience itself.

  • Goodbye Visualforce
    The legacy Visualforce Product Selector that started life in 2016 selected its final product in 2025.  All customers are now pricing and selling in the cleaner, faster and more efficient LWC interface which is the foundation for our innovation in user experience.

  • Screen Flow Activation
    Flexpricer’s LWC can be embedded into guided Salesforce experiences (screen flows) to allow pricing to become just part of a wide selling journey process.

  • Line Item Grouping (Sales Rep Bundles)
    Sales reps can now drag and drop line items into their own groups – naming them as they wish and instantly see price and margin summaries per group.

  • Granular Quantity Controls
    Set minimum and maximum quantities per product to enforce quantity rules automatically.

  • Smarter Automated Add-ons
    Admins can now use negative sort-orders to place automatic add-ons above the triggering product on the quote/opportunity.

  • New Customization Options
    Flexpricer’s feature-set can be customised individually to each customer or partner.

Together, these updates aim to reduce friction, improve accuracy, and speed up every stage of the quote-to-cash process.
