What is the Simple Product Configurator and why is it useful?

In Sales Cloud, you select a Product using a basic interface to add it to a Quote or Opportunity.

There is no flexibility on how to configure or customize the product because Sales Cloud does not include a Product Configurator.

Flexpricer extends Sales Cloud capability with a Simple Product Configurator that allows your System Administrator to pre-define a Product as a ‘parent’ (or ‘master’) that has relationships to a number of other Products as ‘children’ (or ‘options’).

When the sales user adds a master Product to an Opportunity or Quote, Flexpricer pops-up a Configurator interface automatically, allowing options to be selected as well.
